Epec is proud to have supplied high performance printed circuit boards for the Apollo 11 in 1969 and more recently, for the International Space Station (ISS). Our expertise in the industry has made us a reliable supplier of PCBs for more than 60 years.

The ISS has been in the news lately, since May 28th, when Expedition 36 blasted off from Kazakhstan on a Russian Soyuz TMA-09M capsule to make a journey to the ISS. Aboard the capsule was an international team of astronauts which included Commander Pavel Vinogradov (Russia) and Flight Engineers Fyodor Yurchikhin (Russia), Alekxandr Misurkin (Russia), Chris Cassidy (USA), Luca Parmitano (Italy) and Karen Nyberg (USA).

The crew is scheduled to conduct six spacewalks during a time span of five and a half months in order to prepare for the installation of the Russian Multipurpose Laboratory Module and to support several ongoing research and technology experiments. The first spacewalks were completed at the beginning of July.

We wish Expedition 36 luck in their mission and continue to support space exploration efforts. Pleaes read our case study about Epec's PCBs on the ISS to learn more.
